Like the title says.... <ahem> "Due to circumstances beyond our control"....(love that disclaimer!) The Royal Hotel is no longer available as a venue. In fact the bailiffs have moved in. As such the Theatre and Film event is being shifted to O' Neill's. Same date same time Sunday 3rd August 1 p.m - 11 p.m.... but at O'Neills. So we're going to have an awful lot of fun shifting all the kit from the music the night before on Sunday morning...
Wild Woods Day featuring Estuary Fringe, Saturday 7th June, 11am - 4pm, Hockley Woods.
This great annual event organised by Rochford District Council has lots going on for all the family and a whole load of "stuff" from Estuary Fringe. Poetry featuring: Cherry Scott, Chris Port and Pablo Giles Conceptual Art from: Morgan A-Lefey and Chrissie Cochrane Music from: Jillian Winter and Kaylen Castle Graffiti by Jungle Taktikz Plus get involved and help create some conceptual stuff. See you there.... And it's back again! Bit like a bad penny.... The increasingly popular Dangerous Poetry returns to Utopia Cafe between 6-9 p.m Thursday 12th June for it's fifth incarnation, Poetic Justice. Featuring it's usual eclectic mix of Poetry, Live Music and Performance Art, from award winning established acts and published writers, right the way through to first timers and even guerrilla ventriloquy, (yes, you read right) this uniquely open forum event just keeps getting bigger and louder. So come see what happens this time.... Alongside music from the fabulous Jillian Winter and the amazing Kaylen Castle, we will be showcasing poetry from award winning Cherry Scot and Chris Port, conceptual art from Morgan A-Lefey and Chrissie Cochrane and just when you least expect it some graffiti art in the woods from the blokes at Jungle Taktikz ... Knowing us there will be a lot more stuff going on as well. This gives us the opportunity to showcase some of the amazing local talent that we will be featuring during this year’s Estuary Fringe Festival running from Saturday 2nd to Sunday 10th August.
